<p>Job Title: Quality Manager/Continuous Improvement</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This role is responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies, managing quality systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving change.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs. </li><li>Facilitate cross-functional workshops and root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities. </li><li>Oversee quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. </li><li>Conduct internal audits and supplier quality assessments; maintain performance metrics and corrective action plans. </li><li>Analyze production workflows and recommend changes to improve efficiency, safety, and product consistency. </li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and scrap rates. </li><li>Provide training and coaching to teams on continuous improvement tools and quality standards. </li><li>Promote a culture of operational excellence and accountability across all departments. </li><li>Collect and analyze operational data; prepare reports and present findings to leadership. </li><li>Support capital projects and reliability strategies to enhance asset performance. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Quality engineering </li><li>Quality assurance </li><li>Continuous improvement </li><li>Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) </li><li>Supplier quality management </li><li>Audit processes </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, chemical, industrial engineering or related field. </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in continuous improvement and quality management within a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and quality systems. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems and CAD tools is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based in a dynamic manufacturing environment where teamwork and collaboration are crucial. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The work involves regular interaction with cross-functional teams, and adherence to safety and quality standards is essential.
