<p>Job Objective: This position is responsible for operation of the donation center</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Perform and supervise the sorting of donations </li><li>Wash and clean incoming donations for sale floor </li><li>Bale clothing using baling equipment </li><li>Move materials using a forklift as needed </li><li>Unload materials and load bales onto truck </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and order of the warehouse </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: High School diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Experience: Warehouse and forklift operation</p> <p>Certifications/Licenses: Class E operator's license; forklift certification (obtained within 90-days of employment)</p> <p>Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with staff members, donors and volunteers </li><li>Ability to operate warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, baler and forklift </li><li>Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form </li><li>Ability to work independently with limited supervision </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibility: Volunteers as directed by supervisor</p> <p>Physical Requirements: Include, speaking, hearing and vision; excellent manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials weighing 50 pounds or more; bending, squatting and walking; standing for extended periods of time.
