<p>Piper Companies is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer for a world leading technology organization in the Raleigh Durham, North Carolina area. The Embedded Software Engineer will work in RTP, NC. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, implement and test security features and solutions.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Embedded Software Engineer include:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement new embedded software solutions </li><li>Contribute to the development and deployment of security features </li><li>Research new technologies to increase awareness of best technology and tools to solve various problems </li><li>Test, documentation, and assist with proof of concepts </li><li>Participate in architecture design and code reviews </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Embedded Software Engineer include:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work in the United States </li><li>2+ years of professional embedded software engineering experience </li><li>Reside near RTP, NC for commuting distance to office </li><li>Linux background </li><li>Embedded C and/or C++ experience </li><li>Security Protocol and/or cryptography experience </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Embedded Software Engineer includes:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $65,000 - $140,000 based on experience </li><li>Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law </li><li>This job opens for applications on July 31, 2025.
