We are actively searching for a full time Mathematics Teacher in the Middle Grades Program to join our dynamic team of educators. An ideal candidate is someone who has an ability to motivate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. The Middle Grades Program (grades six through eight) bridges the academic and social-emotional success for scholars as they progress from Riverside Magnet School (pre-kindergarten to grade five) to the CT River Academy (grades nine through twelve). The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to work with students from urban and suburban settings, and possess an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural education. Mathematics 7-12 (029) or Mathematics, Middle School 4-8 (229) certification or evidence of eligibility is required. Upcoming college graduates are encouraged to apply.
