<p>Overview The SEG (Select Employer Group) Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in driving NWFCU's long-term growth by cultivating strategic relationships with company and community partners. This sales and business development role focuses on expanding membership, increasing product adoption, and enhancing financial wellness through proactive outreach, internal collaboration, and exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison for a portfolio of SEGs, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and maintain engagement plans for SEGs Prospect and acquire new SEGs to expand NWFCU's field of membership Track and report SEG employee penetration and product adoption metrics; adjust strategies accordingly Identify and pursue opportunities to grow membership, deposits, and loans Host on-site and virtual financial wellness seminars, benefit fairs, and product education sessions Represent NWFCU at corporate, community, and nonprofit events Develop and publish post-event social media content to enhance visibility Maintain a weekly calendar of events, accomplishments, and outreach milestones Partner with Branch Managers to support SEG events and member onboarding Collaborate with Commercial Banking, Marketing, and the NWFCU Foundation to align outreach with business and philanthropic goals Share leads, strategies, and insights across departments to enhance member experience and conversion Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience Minimum 5 years of experience in retail/business development Effective sales techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales) Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and/or with members Self-motivated, well-organized individual Ability to conduct and present webinars virtually or in person to our company partners (SEG) Ability to work on-site at various branch locations Ability to work effectively on-site in our Herndon, VA headquarters and equally effectively remotely Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with the ability to attend events after hours and weekends Preferred Working knowledge of NWFCU, Federal and state regulations required by the National Credit Union Association Prior history of sales/business development success in a financial services environment Additional Compensation Northwest Federal offers a comprehensive and inclusive benefits program, which includes medical, dental and vision plans for you and your family, 4 weeks paid vacation, 12 paid holidays, 24 hours of paid volunteer time, parental leave, company paid disability and life insurance, and a generous 401(k) plan with up to 7% employer match.
