This role involves inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality. The successful candidate will conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, right to know, and mold, perform air monitoring, and provide contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects. Additionally, the role requires maintaining, operating, and calibrating a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment, as well as technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data. Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inspect and monitor on-site for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality. </li><li>Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, right to know, and mold. </li><li>Perform air monitoring and provide oversight during asbestos abatement projects. </li><li>Maintain, operate, and calibrate various sampling and monitoring equipment. </li><li>Write technical reports and interpret analytical data. </li><li>Ensure timeliness, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to emergencies. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in on-site monitoring for environmental hazards such as asbestos and mold. </li><li>Proficient in conducting detailed surveys for hazardous materials. </li><li>Skilled in air monitoring and providing contractor oversight. </li><li>Competence in maintaining and calibrating sampling and monitoring equipment. </li><li>Strong report writing skills and ability to interpret analytical data. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred. </li><li>Lead licenses preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and construction. </li><li>High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma. </li><li>Experience in general labor, construction, industrial hygiene, and safety. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This full-time position involves working in the field with occasional trips to the Moorestown office. The role requires availability for day and evening shifts, with occasional weekend work.
