<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Primary Location: Muskegon</p> <p>Shift schedule: Full Time</p> <p>36 hours one week, 48 hours 2nd week</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <p>As a licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider, the Paramedic delivers advanced pre-hospital care, including cardiac monitoring, airway management, IV therapy, and medication administration</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assess and prioritize patient care based on the nature and severity of illness or injury.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer advanced life support interventions, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Cardiac rhythm stabilization</p> </li><li> <p>Intravenous therapy</p> </li><li> <p>Endotracheal intubation</p> </li><li> <p>Medication administration</p> </li><li> <p>Record and monitor vital signs and patient responses.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide emergency treatment at the scene and during transport.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with patient extrication and safe transport.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate care with fire, police, and other emergency personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate Trinity Health EMS vehicles safely and attentively.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with physicians and medical staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct vehicle and supply checks at each shift change.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain operational readiness and adhere to Trinity Health EMS protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with PPE and safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current Paramedic license (State of Michigan) </li><li>Certifications in ACLS, BTLS, and CPR </li><li>Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record </li><li>Commitment to the mission and values of Trinity Health </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
