This is a great opportunity for experienced right-of-way professionals who are looking to grow their careers in a collaborative, employee-owned firm.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Key Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver acquisition and relocation services in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Act and project-specific regulations </li><li>Support federally funded transportation projects under the guidance of the Project Manager or project team </li><li>Prepare real estate conveyance documents and conduct basic property research, including ownership and boundary details </li><li>Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding acquisition and relocation matters </li><li>Draft and manage project-related documents, reports, and correspondence </li><li>Attend meetings and maintain organized project files and records </li><li>Provide responsive customer service and clear communication to stakeholders </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills </li><li>Background in real estate, title work or similar industry </li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues </li><li>Proven customer service expertise </li><li>Exceptional organizational and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (URA) </li><li>2+ years of experience in acquisition, negotiation, relocation or related real estate work </li><li>Active Real Estate license in the state of Washington, Oregon, or Idaho </li><li>Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to property acquisition </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative project-team environment, interchangeably supporting co-workers and engaging co-workers' support to meet the specific needs of a wide range of projects. The salary range for this position is $31.00 - $37.00 per hour. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
