<p>Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking an Admission/Wound Nurse for our Hillcrest Millard location!</p> <p>Monday-Friday with some weekends as needed for on-call or nursing rotation.</p> <p>Our goal at Hillcrest is to inspire people to live their best lives.</p> <p>We are committed to providing a career that lets you thrive and grow.</p> <p>What does Hillcrest have to offer?</p> <ul> <li>Four different health care plans to choose from! </li><li>Vision, dental and life insurance. </li><li>Attendance PTO - earn extra PTO monthly for good attendance. </li><li>Professional development opportunities (tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment for nurses, certifications and more). </li><li>Choose when you get paid with Dayforce Wallet! </li><li>Gym membership reimbursement and partner discounts. </li></ul> <p>What are my responsibilities?</p> <ul> <li>Completes head to toe assessments on new admissions and completes all new admission assessments in the EMR. </li><li>Complete weekly wound rounds measuring wounds, doing treatments and documenting progress for QAPI. </li><li>Keep inventory of wound supplies and inform the Clinical Support Assistant when they need to be ordered. </li><li>Report outbreaks/positives to the health department and/or DHHS. </li><li>Reviews care plans of each patient, making changes as the patient's condition or plan of care changes and complete an admission care plan. </li><li>Track and monitor Infection Control Log on a weekly basis. </li><li>Assist Occupational Therapy with wound vac changes and document changes to wounds. </li></ul> <p>What do I need to be considered?</p> <ul> <li>STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful). </li><li>Graduate from an accredited nursing program required. </li><li>One year of experience in a long term care, post-acute, hospital or similar setting preferred. </li><li>Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. </li><li>Wound certification and Infection Prevention certification. </li></ul> <p>About Hillcrest:</p> <p>As a local organization, we offer a tight-knit, friendly environment with the benefits and options of a large company!</p> <p>#INDHealthcare</p>
