Has been specially trained in radiological and vascular interventional procedures and techniques, PICC line placement and is part of the Imaging Team. Responsible for meeting hospital standards of care using the standard nursing process and skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations: geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Properly documents patient care given. Assists other department staff in provision of basic patient care in Imaging. Communicate with Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, other Physicians, department staff, nursing staff and patients and their families as needed for high quality patient care. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.</em></p> <p>The value you'll bring to the team:</p> <ul> <li> <p><em>Assists IR and general Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other Physicians in the Imaging department</em></p> </li><li> <p><em>PICC and midline placement using Ultrasound technology</em></p> </li><li> <p><em>PAT patients scheduled for department procedures</em></p> </li><li> <p><em>Administration of moderate sedation of imaging patients</em></p> </li><li> <p><em>Post procedural education for all imaging patients</em></p> </li><li> <p><em>Participate in ongoing process improvement and patient experience processes</em></p> </li></ul> <p>The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:</p> <p>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing</p> <p>Must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring</p> <p>2 hospital/ICU nursing experience</p> <p>2 Critical care experience</p> <p>BCLS - Basic Life Support Required</p> <p>ACLS</p> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelors in nursing</p> <p>Proficiency in acute-care nursing</p> <p>Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills</p> <p>CCRN - Critical Care Registered Nurse</p> <p>VA-BC - Vascular Access-Board Certified</p> <p>Interventional Radiology Upon Hire</p> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
