This includes marketing, operations, and financial activities.</p> <p>This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Assist tenants with their needs and make sure problems are addressed quickly. </li><li>Make sure that services follow rules, agreements, and company standards. </li><li>Visit the property with the team and recommend changes, repairs, and upgrades to the property. </li><li>Assist the team with basic administrative duties. This includes the creation of purchase orders, submitting invoices for payment, and forwarding invoices to accounting. Review and approve vendor invoices to make sure they are correct. </li><li>Assist with creating the budget by researching prices for supplies and services and creating reports. </li><li>Coordinate moving tenants in and out of the property. Approve and review all tenant bills for distribution. </li><li>Help with the preparation of common area maintenance dues, invoices, and related correspondence. </li><li>Manage tenant events and appreciation. Approve the publication of the tenant newsletter. </li><li>Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques. </li><li>Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related. </li><li>Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. </li><li>A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. </li><li>Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. </li><li>Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. </li><li>Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <ul> <li>Prefer someone with a solid understanding of financials from ledgers to invoicing, accounts payable to accounts receivable etc. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience, specifically in commercial environments. </li><li>Strong understanding of property management processes, procedures, and systems. </li><li>VA Real Estate License required; may be obtained within 6 months of employment with CBRE. </li><li>Must posses strong and effective communication skills. </li><li>Ability to evaluate and communicate complex information clearly and concisely. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. </li><li>Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups; financial experience. </li><li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. </li></ul> <p>Why CBRE?</p> <p>When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
