Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>School Support: Work with school leadership teams on a weekly basis for the entire school year to implement instructional strategies that address the needs of Latine students, with a focus on schoolwide systems and structures to ensure the needs of all Latine staff and students, regardless of the language of instruction, are met. Support bilingual programming, and English-based literacy programs to ensure equity in instruction for all Latine students. </li><li>Strategic Partnerships and Innovation: Lead and coordinate the scaling and implementation of best practices by aligning instructional support between the Humanities and MLE teams, to ensure a coherent approach to literacy and biliteracy development. </li><li>Assessment-Informed Instruction: Analyze student data, identify areas for improvement, and set measurable goals focused on literacy outcomes for Latine students, informed by ongoing assessments. Assessment data will be analyzed and interpreted holistically for students receiving bilingual education using data sources in both English and Spanish. </li><li>Continuous Professional Learning and Planning Support: Lead, model, and share exemplary practices with instructional leadership teams (ILTs) to support the classroom-level implementation of district-led professional learning opportunities. The focus will be on culturally and linguistically sustaining practices, bilingual education strategies, and family engagement practices to strengthen literacy systems. </li><li>Program Evaluation and Implementation: Monitor and evaluate school support strategies, focusing on literacy and language outcomes for Latine students, and provide ongoing feedback to district and school leadership teams. </li><li>Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with district and school teams to boost Latine student engagement, attendance, and retention by implementing culturally and linguistically sustaining practices and family and community engagement practices to improve student achievement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED - Required </li><li>Bachelor's Degree - Education, Project Management - Preferred </li><li>Master's Degree - Education, Project Management - Preferred </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) strongly - Preferred </li><li>Three (3+) plus years of Senior Team Lead, school improvement, project coordination, educational, or related business experience </li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills </li><li>Aptitude for variety and changing expectations in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance </li><li>High degree of integrity in handling confidential information </li><li>Works collaboratively with others on a team </li><li>Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with district and school leaders, faculty, staff and students </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines </li><li>Ability to manage complex projects using project management tools and processes </li><li>Ability to navigate complex organizational structures </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
