We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Staff Accountant will provide general administrative support to the management team assisting with day-to-day tasks and data entry. This in an important role in the organization that will require service, tact, diplomacy, and a professional approach to the job. Confidentiality is critical.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:</p> <p>Financial Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Payroll processing assistance </li><li>Cash handling, bank deposits and reconciliation </li><li>Collections and Accounts Receivable </li><li>Accounts Payable, Receivable and Journal Entries </li><li>Point of Sale reconciliation </li><li>Prepare monthly Expense Reports </li><li>Prepare month end close </li></ul> <p>Administrative Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintains record keeping </li><li>Provides administrative support relative to contracts, certificates of insurance, W9 forms, etc. </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to visitors and callers by resolving information ?requests, directing to the appropriate parties or taking messages </li><li>Perform general office duties, such as order office supplies, maintain database systems, distribute mail </li><li>Complete all other duties as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred (or acceptable experience in lieu of degree) </li><li>2-4 years of related experience </li><li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills </li><li>Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. </li><li>Experience using Quick Books and Dynamics (preferred) </li><li>Well organized and thorough with the ability to multi-task </li><li>Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills </li><li>Team approach to task completion </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds waist high </li><li>May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions </li><li>Must comply with safety and health code standards </li><li>Facility has intermittent noise </li></ul>
