<p>Pay based on experience | Requires flexibility to work various shifts.</p> <p>In this fast-paced, high-energy environment where providing the ultimate guest service is essential, how do we guarantee that we exceed our guest's expectations. As a VIP Services Senior Analyst your typical tasks will include host coding, host book data, host data forecasting, pro/post performance analysis, host performance tracking, comp analysis/justifications and all departmental financial and operational analysis in a team setting. You will have the opportunity to analyze human behavior, navigate large data sets, and build a variety of skills from your exposure and interface to all levels of the organization. While carrying out the job duties listed below you will contribute to our continued success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal, and professional dedication to our Mission, Vision, and Values, and demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethical standards.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)</p> <ul> <li>*Develop, maintain, automate and distribute host book analysis, forecasts, and reports to support business analysis and decision making. </li><li>*Deliver business insight through reporting and compiling data and modeling to varying levels of management </li><li>*Lead periodic reviews of host and VIP services team performance with department leadership which covers performance results and forecasts. Analyze financial results and identify the primary drivers of the variances to forecast, plan, and prior periods. </li><li>*Identify key business levers, establish cause and effect, and communicate key findings to various partners to facilitate data-directed decision-making. </li><li>*Analyze large data sets to identify, evaluate, and prioritize new opportunities to grow and/or optimize the business. </li><li>*Develop and evaluate innovative ideas to assess value-added opportunities </li><li>*Work closely with Marketing Database, Hotel as well as Finance to design professional, interactive dashboards to track the progress of the business and its highest priority initiatives. </li><li>*Compile detailed player profitability analysis to identify profitable, unprofitable and/or over comped players </li><li>*Monitor and ensure accuracy of data in the data warehouse, cubes, marts, and tables. </li><li>*Assist with selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial and business intelligence systems. </li><li>*Act as the department lead on implementation of a new CRM tool </li><li>*Assist with developing the appropriate set of performance metrics for each area of the business; and report and analyze these metrics on a consistent basis. </li><li>*Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data quality and integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. </li><li>Keep current with the industry's latest trends and technologies and seek opportunities to bring advanced analytical techniques and solutions to the business intelligence space. </li><li>Provide back-up and support to management. </li><li>Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience are required. A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science or other relevant field is preferred and can take the place of 2 years of experience. </li><li>3 years of casino operations or casino marketing preferred </li><li>Excel formulation and basic knowledge of SQL is preferred </li><li>The ability to query within a SQL database is preferred. </li><li>Basic understanding of relational databases and cube design is preferred. </li><li>Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and Microsoft Office software. The ability to demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills, such as Cube function formulas & set creation and management, formula range adjustments, array formulas, value updates, evaluating formula dependencies, and pivot table creation, maintenance, and refreshing. </li><li>The ability to perform financial modeling and analysis, with demonstrated results in leveraging information systems. </li><li>The ability to communicate with both IT coworkers and business users and translate the needs to both groups. </li><li>The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects. </li><li>The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. </li><li>The ability to interact and communicate with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, in verbal and written form, including the ability to speak in front of small groups and work in a team environment. </li><li>The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor the noise level increases.
