There are no limits to what we as team members and as an organization, can achieve together.</p> <p>Where people, purpose, and progress come together every day.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Executive Director Credit Portfolio Manager is tasked with the critical role of analyzing loan documents, identifying and managing triggers, and maintaining the Trigger Portal. This position is essential for assessing the impacts of triggers related to consent matters and ensuring effective portfolio management within the Credit & Asset Management functional area.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identify, review, monitor, abstract, and analyze commercial loan trigger events, including those related to lockbox and reserve springing impounds, deferred property maintenance, furniture fixtures & equipment (FF&E) triggers, tenant credit ratings, and occupancy ratios. </li><li>Collaborate with vendors and other Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) teams, such as Customize Portfolio Servicing, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Asset Management, Real Estate Capital Markets (RECM), Multi-family Asset Management, Assumptions, Leasing, and Modifications, to address and provide guidance on trigger-related matters. </li><li>Proactively identify trigger/covenant events, escalate issues to Asset Management Teams, and conduct necessary follow-ups to ensure resolution. </li><li>Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex commercial real estate loan documents to fully identify trigger/covenant language and cure provisions. </li><li>Identify loan/credit risk and appropriately mitigate risk as part of the trigger review process. </li><li>Operate under the guidance of a supervisor, exercising independent judgment while gaining a comprehensive understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. </li><li>Participate in and lead process improvement projects. </li><li>Collaborate with vendors and other Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) teams, such as Customize Portfolio Servicing, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Asset Management, Assumptions, Leasing, and Modifications, to address and provide guidance on covenant-related matters. </li><li>Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. </li><li>Mentor and coach junior team members, evaluate work product and provide instructional guidance as needed. </li><li>Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, accounting, or a related field. </li><li>11+ years of experience in leasing, credit analysis, portfolio management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education. </li><li>Demonstrate a high-level skillset that encompasses financial analysis, real estate and property management operations, market knowledge, knowledge of mortgage and legal documents, and credit risk analysis. </li><li>Understands different commercial real estate property types and their economics. </li><li>Ability to read and understand complex commercial real estate loan documentation and securitization documents, including pooling and servicing agreements and related documentation. </li><li>Familiarity with highly structured loan transactions. </li><li>Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit and income producing real estate. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex loan documents and lease documents. </li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners. </li><li>Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage priorities independently and efficiently. </li><li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Trimont is an equal opportunity employer, and we're proud to support and celebrate diversity in the workplace.
