<p>CAMDEN COUNTY TECHNICAL SCHOOLS</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p>TITLE: ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL</p> <p>2025-2026-SCHOOL YEAR</p> <p>GLOUCESTER CAMPUS CAMPUS</p> <p>DEADLINE: This position will be filled in no less than ten (10) days after the date of this posting.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Assist the principal with inservice responsibilities.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Assume the role of the principal when he/she is absent.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the principal in all personnel matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise the reporting, monitoring, and follow-up activities</p> </li></ol> <p>regarding student attendance.</p> <ol start="5"> <li> <p>Arrange and participate in parent-teacher conferences.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the principal with the opening of school and graduation</p> </li></ol> <p>activities.</p> <ol start="7"> <li>Attend athletic events and other activities held after regular </li></ol> <p>school hours as assigned by the principal.</p> <ol start="8"> <li> <p>Prepare for and supervise assemblies.</p> </li><li> <p>Accompany seniors on the class trip.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and update the student handbook.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with maintaining discipline throughout the school.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise the operation of the book depository.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage activities associated with textbooks including receipt,</p> </li></ol> <p>processing, inventory, and maintenance of price lists.</p> <p>Curriculum: 1. Meet with advisory committees at the direction of the principal.</p> <p>Evaluation:</p> <ol> <li>Assist the principal with the supervision and evaluation of the </li></ol> <p>high school staff.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>Visit academic and career program classes as assigned to </li></ol> <p>observe instructional activities and provide support to teachers</p> <p>and students.</p> <p>Finance: 1. Assist the principal with the preparation of the annual high</p> <p>school budget.</p> <p>Miscellaneous: 1.
