<p>Van Driver (Kettering)</p> <p>Pay rate: £12.21 per hour</p> <p>Shift length: 10-12 hours (Monday-Friday)</p> <p>Start time: 0430am</p> <p>Drops: 10-15 per shift</p> <p>Location: Kettering</p> <p>We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to deliver fresh, artisan pastries to clients across the Kettering area. This role involves early starts, working with chilled products, and providing excellent service while representing a high-quality food brand.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete 10-15 multi-drop deliveries of fresh, artisan pastries each day. </li><li>Work 10-12 hour shifts, starting promptly at 4:30am. </li><li>Load and unload products, ensuring all items are handled with care. </li><li>Operate within chilled/fridge environments and maintain product freshness during transit. </li><li>Carry out vehicle checks and follow all driving and food safety standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with customers and the operations team. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age 25+ (for insurance purposes). </li><li>Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years. </li><li>At least 1 year of delivery driving experience. </li><li>Maximum 6 points on licence, no major endorsements. </li><li>Comfortable working in fridge/chilled environments. </li><li>Able to lift and move boxes of pastries safely. </li><li>Strong timekeeping, communication, and customer service skills. </li></ul> <p>Your hourly pay rate is £12.21, and you will accrue £1.47 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
