The college is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Part-Time Administrative Assistant, Division of STEM & Business</p> <p>Campus Location: Danvers</p> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday; 9:00 am - 2:00 pm</p> <p>Non-benefited</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>The role involves providing general and overall administrative support to the Division of Stem & Business. They will provide support by coordinating scheduling and preparing materials for meetings, assisting with confidential evaluations, and aiding in the development and management of the master schedule, collecting and tracking of contractual forms, and providing office coverage.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates the scheduling and preparation of materials needed for meetings, including taking notes and drafting materials. </li><li>Assists with processing confidential faculty/staff evaluations per the collective bargaining agreement. </li><li>Assists the administrative assistant with the developing and managing of the master schedule. </li><li>Collects and tracks all contractual forms including syllabi from faculty for the Division. </li><li>Provides front desk coverage; greets guests, answers calls, and schedules appointments as needed. </li><li>Monitors office inventory and equipment functionality; orders office supplies and places equipment servicing requests. </li><li>Prepares requisitions for supplies, busses, travel, reimbursements and facilities requests, frequently communicating with outside vendors and other NSCC departments (i.e., Fiscal Affairs, Human Resources, Facilities, Academic Affairs, etc.) </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Proficiency in Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.) </li><li>Ability to politely and effectively communicate with co-workers, students, and the general public. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. </li><li>Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>SALARY: $21.00/hour, non-benefited</p> <p>North Shore Community College is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran status, genetic information, pregnancy or related conditions, gender identity, sex characteristics, sex stereotypes or sexual orientation in its programs and activities as required by Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other applicable statutes and college policies.
