This work includes, but is not limited to implementing best practices as defined through ITEC 1210, ADA, section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and WCAG 2.1 guidance for review and remediation of assets; developing training and educating agency; and using up-to-date accessibility scanning and testing software such as Monsido, AMP, Equidox, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Premier and NVDA to regularly scan or evaluate assets to maintain reasonable accessibility rating as defined by OITS (97%). Must stay current on state and federal regulations, assistive tools and best practices.</p> <p>ANALYTICS & GOVERNANCE: Maintains a database of KDHE digital assets to include documents, images, videos, trainings and forms to ensure they are reviewed on a regular schedule. Coordinates with programs to report asset performance, expiration and remediation requirements. Removes and archives any content not flagged for expiration extensions by the programs through either automated or manual means.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:</p> <p>PROCEDURES & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Maintains up-to-date procedure manuals documenting all processes and procedures for website content updates, analytic reporting, document remediation, and accessibility work. Understands agency website policies and procedures and consistently implements them in practice. Performs other public relations and marketing duties as applicable and assigned as a member of the agency's communications team.</p> <p>DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT: Serve as secondary web content manager; maintaining, updating and improving the agency's websites. Implement best practice standards of web design, user experience (UX) and accessibility compliance. This work may include, but isn't limited to, coordinating content, uploading content, designing webpages, building online forms and fillable PDFs, configuring and incorporating third-party applications, and consulting with programs on their needs. Works in partnership with the communications team and programs to ensure content is updated regularly.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education:</p> </li><li> <p>High School, GED</p> </li><li> <p>Licensing & Certification:Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> </li><li> <p>At least one year of experience working with Content Management Systems.
