Since 1954, Woodgrain is proud to be family owned and operated.</p> <p>Starting Salary: $17.00</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-time</p> <p>Work Environment: Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am with OT as required</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The moulder operator takes ownership of their designated machine center. They add value by leading their team to achieve quantity and quality production goals.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up machinery in a reasonable time and complete change overs </li><li>Perform basic maintenance and TPM's on machinery </li><li>Ability to read specs and measurements </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot machinery in order to reduce downtime </li><li>Learn quality aspect of product in order to reduce waste </li><li>Knowledgeable of the different widths and lengths of material </li><li>Dislodge and clear jammed materials in a safe manner </li><li>Communicate with material handlers and production leads when materials are ready to move </li><li>Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks to keep tools, equipment, and work stations cleaned, organized and safe </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prior machine operation experience </li><li>Basic math skills (add/subtract/divide, read a measuring tape, calipers, digital indicators) </li><li>Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, spec sheets and material identification </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly throughout the day </li><li>Regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms </li><li>Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and turning </li><li>Frequently required to stand (up to 10 hours) and walk </li><li>Noise level is usually moderate </li><li>Exposure to head and cold extremes at times </li><li>Exposure to potentially hazardous production areas (heavy equipment traffic, slip/trip hazards, airborne dust/debris, etc) </li></ul> <p>Summary of Company Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA) </li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA) </li><li>401(k) with a Company Match </li><li>Group Term Life Insurance and AD&D </li><li>Employer Paid Long-Term & Short-Term Disability </li><li>Voluntary Supplemental Hospital and Accident Plans </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>8 Company Paid Holidays & 1 Floating Holiday </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li></ul> <p>Woodgrain is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
