Responsibilities #Assesses requirements for indirect patient care activities and sets priorities for implementation. #Demonstrates competence in performing aseptic and sterile technique procedures and identifies rationale underlying the skill. #Under supervision of an RN # may collect data and provide care to patients in FAMILY BIRTH CENTER #May be required to perform point of care testing. #May be a point of care trainer. #Demonstrates proper cleaning, restocking and setup of patient rooms, PACU or O.R. #Demonstrates competence in clerical skills, assures proper charging of supplies and equipment. #Maintains adequate levels of floor stock supplies and equipment. #Assures proper stock levels are maintained in all patient care areas and supply carts. #Demonstrates compliance to department, division and hospital policies, procedures and guidelines. #Demonstrates proper cleaning and care of instruments and equipment.
