We are seeking a Part time Event Manager to plan and lead engaging events for our members across all three branches.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Event Manager will coordinate and execute monthly events, ensuring a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for members. This role collaborates with branch leadership, marketing, and membership teams while also supporting development and fundraising efforts.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, organize, and execute family-friendly events. </li><li>Coordinate event logistics, staffing, and budgeting. </li><li>Ensure safety and risk management best practices. </li><li>Promote events in collaboration with the marketing team. </li><li>Engage with members, staff, and community partners. </li><li>Support social media and fundraising initiatives. </li><li>Follow YMCA policies, including safety and child protection guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>18+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED (degree preferred). </li><li>1+ years of event planning experience. </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to travel between YMCA branches. </li></ul> <p>The YMCA of Dane County is an equal opportunity employer.
