This is a great opportunity to join an industry leader with great offices, very good work life balance, and amazing benefits.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review income and non-income-based tax returns </li><li>The Tax Associate will assist with preparing for tax audits </li><li>Tax return preparation </li><li>Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns for filing on a timely basis, including preparation of work papers and lead sheets </li><li>General tax accounting functions to be used in preparing income tax returns, including preparation of monthly tax provision and related analysis, preparation of tax projections, and related estimated tax payments </li><li>As a Tax Associate, you will provide audit assistance, prepare budgets, projections, and estimates </li><li>Research and plan for special projects </li><li>Stay informed of all aspects and changes in accounting rules and tax laws* Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Tax preferred </li><li>3+ years of experience in tax compliance/preparation and tax accounting; Preferably at a CPA firm or large corporation </li><li>Strong computer skills including tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Proven ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail </li><li>CPA certification is a plus </li></ul>
