Develops curriculum and maintains an updated training manual for the program. Provides on-going competency assessment and training through provision of refresher courses, development of new courses as needs are identified or regulations change. Maintains appropriate documentation of all training provided in accordance with TJC and other regulator requirements. Communication skills are required to persuade or gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas. Responsibility exists to ensure that internal customers are satisfied with service. Communication with external contacts is for providing or receiving factual information. Courtesy and tact are required in dealing with customers.</p> <ul> <li>5 current and relevant years of experience as a Medical Assistant or MA Instructor </li><li>Experience teaching and developing MA curriculum (3+ years preferred) </li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) </li><li>Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant training program </li><li>Certified through the AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA (must be active at the time of the application) </li><li>Driver's License Preferred </li></ul>
