In this role, you'll learn to assist with flat cutter operations, prepare materials, and support bindery production while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Learn to set up and operate flat cutter equipment through on-the-job training. </li><li>Prepare jobs for cutting, input sheet data, and ensure accurate layout. </li><li>Load and trim paper stacks, then stack finished products onto pallets. </li><li>Maintain accurate production counts, skid tickets, and daily reports. </li><li>Assist with routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and knife or stick changes </li><li>Read a ruler and take precise measurements; use calculators and measurement tools to verify accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn flat cutter operations. </li><li>Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, with the ability to use rulers and measurement tools. </li><li>Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well with trainers and supervisors. </li><li>Prior bindery or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>Starting Pay: $17hr (Biweekly Pay)</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>2x2x3 - 7:30am to 7:30pm </li></ul> <p>Help us bring stories to life-join the BPG-USA team today!</p> <p>This position is subject to a Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screening, and Employment Verification.</p>
