<p>Starting Pay: $22.00 USD</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Responsible for providing superior service to Casino guests, managing the day-to-day Slot Operations on assigned shift.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following)</p> <ul> <li>Provide a welcome, comfortable and friendly atmosphere to casino guest through positive guest interactions and ensuring assigned staff meet or exceed Slot Service Standards; </li><li>Develop Slot players and host guest through guest recognition and Slot marketing tools; </li><li>Lead, develop, motivate, schedule and coordinate slot department staff in providing service to casino guests; </li><li>Manage and resolve guest complaints in a manner that insures guest satisfaction within the scope of their authority; </li><li>Maintain knowledge of, and ensure, slot department employees adhere to procedures and policies as well as compliance with gaming regulations; </li><li>Manage labor in order to provide superior service while maintaining cost effectiveness. </li><li>Report any safety issues identified on property, take initiative to prevent accidents to guests and employees, protect assets of the company; </li><li>Coordinate with security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage slot machines; </li><li>Provide positive reinforcement, counsel, discipline and performance evaluations in a timely manner, appraise, guide and instruct assigned staff as appropriate; </li><li>Responsible for maintaining the security of department funds and assets; </li><li>Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, department procedures and company policies; </li><li>Assists with supervising employees in the Slot Repair and Slot Club as needed; </li><li>Interview applicants, recommend applicants for hire and provide recommendations for discharging Slot Employees; </li><li>Other job related duties as assigned. </li><li>Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision </li><li>Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills. Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures </li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English; perform intermediate math; supervise and instruct others </li><li>Must be able to follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, problem solve using independent judgment and decision-making skills </li><li>Working knowledge of slot operations </li><li>Must have a basic understanding of slot and electronic equipment </li><li>Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff </li><li>Regular, predictable attendance </li><li>Education: High school education or equivalent </li><li>Experience: 3 years management experience </li><li>Minimum 6 years in slot operation </li><li>Certificate/License: Nevada Gaming Work Card </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)</p> <p>Work is performed in an office and casino environment. Work may be performed in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or illuminated. Constant contact with staff and customers.</p> <p>TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Requires mobility. Seldom sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, balancing, pushing/pulling; occasional reaching overhead, bending over and crouching; frequent standing, walking, lifting or carrying of 25 to 50 lbs; repetitive use of both hands with light and firm grasping and finger dexterity; the ability to perform complex tasks, reading, writing and math. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer, calculator, telephone and radio. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness.</p> <p>GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.
