<p>Position Type: Full-time</p> <p>Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes.</p> <p>Hiring immediately for 2nd / 3rd shift Machine Adjusters in our City of Industry, CA manufacturing plant.</p> <p>Machine Operator Pay/Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Pay $21/hr or higher depending on experience + shift premiums </li><li>2nd shift premium $0.70/hr : 2pm -- 10pm </li><li>3rd shift premium $1.50/hr : 10pm - 6am </li><li>Training is on 1st shift -- 6am - 2pm </li><li>Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs. </li></ul> <p>Machine Operator Responsibilities & Daily Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Sets up and adjusts converting equipment for safe and efficient operation. </li><li>Start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting; Change window rolls (overhead). </li><li>Assists in adjuster/operator training; Provides coverage if needed </li><li>Examines product to ensures quality process is followed; Minimizes waste. </li><li>Performs preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production. </li><li>Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations. </li><li>Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc). </li><li>Other duties and assignments as required. </li></ul> <p>Machine Operator Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-</p> <ul> <li>Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. </li><li>Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. </li><li>Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.) ; Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. </li><li>Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. </li><li>Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs. </li></ul> <p>Cenveo is an EEO Employer</p>
