This position assists Specialized Case Managers with problem solving and provides them with the supervisory support needed to succeed in their position. They will collaborate with DCFS to provide appropriate casework services to individuals and families in the Foster Care Program.</p> <p>REPORTING STRUCTURE: Refer to the updated organizational chart for reporting structure and responsiblities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Provides direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for Specialized foster care case managers and other assigned staff. </li><li>Collaborate with licensing department on implementation/completion of specialized foster parent training. </li><li>Ensures specialized treatment plans that addresses youth strengths, needs, promotes placement stability, minimizes youth's special needs, and adequately supports the caregiver are being created/implemented. </li><li>Directs those supervised in the assignment of cases and work schedules. </li><li>Ensures case documentation meets agency, DCFS, and COA requirements. </li><li>Ensures program meets procedural and contractual requirements. </li><li>Reviews internal/external referrals to specialized foster care program and makes recommendations for acceptance. </li><li>Reviews documentation and approves assessments and service plans completed by the Foster Care Case Manager. </li><li>Attends court hearings, case reviews, staffing, and meetings, as needed </li><li>Leads Specialized Foster Care Case Managers in moving cases towards permanency </li><li>Provides support to Specialized Foster Care Case Manager to help succeed in their position. </li><li>Collaborates and implements Child and Family Team Meetings. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. .</p> <p>Experience Required: Minimum 2+years of relevant experience (For positions that manage staff, the years specified need to be progressive years of management experience.
