<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel & Administration</p> <p>Ellsworth</p> <p>Description: South Windsor Public Schools is seeking an administrative assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel and Administration. Duties will include, but are not limited to, organize and oversee the daily operations of the assistant superintendent's office and provide comprehensive administrative support.</p> <p>South Windsor is a diverse community of approximately 27,000 citizens and more than 5,100 public school students. The district values this diversity, and has worked to create a districtwide culture of equity and social consciousness. SWPS is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12), all of which cultivate and support culturally responsive classrooms and learning communities. Must have the ability to multitask, establish priorities and work well under pressure with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain confidential matters. Budget experience, strong financial and math aptitude skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as Google suite, calendar management, and document preparation. MUNIS, PowerSchool, and previous experience in an educational setting preferred.</p> <p>Salary: The salary range for this twelve-month position is commensurate with experience.
