We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients' core holdings.</p> <p>This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which requires working in the office 3 days a week and remotely the remaining days of the week.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>The Associate, Institutional Business Development provides ongoing support to the Institutional Sales and Service Team as a key member of the Business Development group. Perform activities including institutional sales pipeline reporting and opportunity tracking, CRM maintenance, support of business development meetings, investor on-site due diligence visits and roadshow planning, and preparation of meeting materials.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Work in conjunction with two dedicated Institutional Business Development Directors to identify, build, and strengthen relationships and drive new sales activity within their defined territories. </li><li>Assists with the preparation of materials for prospective investors including standard and custom decks, product summaries, white papers, etc. Works with internal teams to streamline requests and production of materials. </li><li>Create and deliver standardized meeting preparation packages to ensure Business Development Directors and Investment Professionals are best prepared when meeting with prospective investors. </li><li>Performs CRM System (Salesforce) maintenance with primary responsibility for creating and managing pipeline and opportunity reports, contact and organization updates, material requests, etc. </li><li>Profile/pre-qualify potential investors for various investment strategies, and assist in the creation of subsequent formal business proposals. </li><li>Responsible for workflow, process improvement execution, and ad-hoc projects to make the team more efficient, working with other members of the institutional distribution team (consultant relations and relationship management) as necessary. </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required </li><li>CFA, or progress towards, preferred. </li><li>FINRA Series 3, 7, and 63 preferred; if hired, must obtain FINRA Series 3, 7, and 63 within one-year of employment. </li><li>2 - 4 years' experience working in the investment management industry </li><li>Dedicated, self-motivated, detail oriented, and confident individual who is interested in the financial industry and seeks a long-term career working with institutional investors </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce a plus </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills </li><li>Works well within a team environment </li><li>Ability to solve problems and build strong relationships within and across functional departments </li></ul> <p>Parametric believes each member of our organization makes a significant contribution to our success. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
