<p>Lab Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing in-process, finished, and stability testing of products, while inspecting and testing incoming raw materials. You will communicate effectively with the Production team regarding batch making and required adjustments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining the inventory of laboratory supplies, making calculations, analyzing data, and preparing summarized results. Additionally, you will assist in product development activities, method development, and validation, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure general cleanliness. You will also support Quality Assurance in document control activities, issuance of batch production sheets, and inspection of production areas.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job duties include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Preparing microbiological media and pouring plates. </li><li>Sample plating and incubation under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. </li><li>Perform the sample analysis following company SOP's. </li><li>General laboratory skills including ability to accurately use a balance, pH meter, autoclave etc.; and knowledge of typical laboratory procedures </li><li>Calibrations of the laboratory equipment and maintenance of the equipment. </li><li>Other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree ( analytical chemistry, chemistry, food science) </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Aseptic Microbiological techniques. </li><li>Experience in fermentation products is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Office </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external groups. </li><li>Strong trouble shooting skills. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $42500.00 - $42500.00/yr.</p> <p>Great company to get your foot in the door at</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City,MO.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Jul 25, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
