<p>Engineering team is looking for highly motivated entry level engineering technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; Technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components, build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly.</p> <ul> <li>Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits. Using multimeters, force gauges, and torque wrenches </li><li>Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections </li><li>Collaborate with Engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered </li><li>Support Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition </li><li>Assist and learn from other Technicians and Engineers </li><li>Assemble & wire test fixtures </li><li>Collaborate with team for lab organization and usage </li><li>Understanding of Ohms law, Kirchhoff's laws </li><li>Use of bandsaws and a drill press for any test fabrication </li><li>Excellent attention to detail along with written & verbal communication skills </li><li>Analytical problem-solving skills and strong organization skills </li><li>Working principals of common thermal components - operation, testing and characterization </li><li>Experience using standard lab and test equipment like power supplies, DAQs, pressure transducers, flow meters, temperature sensors </li><li>Experience with HVAC and refrigerant systems </li><li>Ability to solder, crimp, and read wire diagrams </li><li>Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word) </li><li>Experience working with high voltage and low voltage components </li><li>Previous experience with CAN communication </li><li>Experience working on vehicle level systems </li></ul>
