<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Support NSWCPD, Department 20, Surface ship programs by providing configuration management, engineering change control, HM&E systems engineering, and design support. The role assists with ship modernization, acquisition, sustainment, and technical issue resolution across multiple engineering disciplines.</p> <ul> <li>Support configuration management and control system changes throughout the lifecycle. </li><li>Manage and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Ship Change Documents (SCDs). </li><li>Assist with developing ECPs, resolving design discrepancies, and supporting design reviews. </li><li>Track HM&E equipment, ISEA advisories and Naval messages, and maintain status reports. </li><li>Provide ship hull, mechanical, electrical and control systems engineering support for ship acquisition, modernization, and in-service efforts. </li><li>Contribute to engineering studies, risk analyses, and system performance evaluations. </li><li>Provide on-site support to ship design teams, helping resolve technical issues and review test procedures and proposed ship changes. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experiences:</p> <ul> <li>7 years professional experience in engineering support for U.S. Navy HM&E shipboard systems. Experience in the development and deployment of relevant, innovative technologies that improve ship operational profile, cost and performance. </li></ul> <p>Degree Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's level degree in any engineering discipline.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a U.S. citizen.</p> </li><li> <p>A secret security clearance</p> </li></ul>
