This effort includes connecting a team of aviation consultants and planners to deliver our client's most challenging projects and to foster the growth of our Aviation team.</p> <p>As a practice leader, you are responsible for driving the growth of the Aviation practice to advance our aviation business unit's strategic goals. In this role, you will also be responsible for understanding the unique trends in the market and using that knowledge to work with our team to create technical differentiation from that of our competitors while serving as an important conduit between our National Market Solution (technology) Leaders, North America Sales Leaders, and our operations (delivery) leadership and practice staff in our Aviation Business Unit.</p> <p>In addition to leading projects, you'll play an integral role in mentoring more junior staff, forming long-term relationships with clients and pursuing new work, including marketing and strategy development, positioning, procuring, and negotiating contracts. As Project Lead, you will lead multidiscipline teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. You will have direct access to Jacobs' well-known, vast network of technical specialists and senior project managers to support your success and career advancement. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.</p> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in urban studies, engineering or a related discipline. </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of aviation design and planning. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated self-starter. </li><li>Project management experience for aviation projects. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and win work. </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have:</p> <ul> <li>At least 15 years of experience. </li><li>Strong network with aviation municipalities </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure from the State of California or ability to obtain within 12 months. </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>179,100.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>316,450.00</p> <p>Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
