<p>Job Title: RN First Assist</p> <p>Location: RWJUH Hamilton Hospital</p> <p>Department Name: Operating Room</p> <p>Req #: 0000223056</p> <p>Status: Hourly</p> <p>Shift: Day</p> <p>Pay Range: $60.00 - $86.00 per hour</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.</p> <p>The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.</p> <p>POSITION: PA</p> <p>LOCATION: RWJ Hamilton</p> <p>SUMMARY: We are currently looking for a Physician Assistant to be part of the Perioperative Services at our institution</p> <p>JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>The candidate will be a critical member of the surgical team, caring for patients with surgical problems/needs, and related surgical procedures, which also includes Obstetrics and Gynecology</p> <p>The candidate will be involved in:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluating and managing patients with surgical diseases </li><li>Performing bed side procedures when appropriate </li><li>Assisting the surgeon in the operating room </li><li>Ensuring continuum of care between the inpatient and outpatient areas </li><li>Will be required to be on-call, during the evenings/nights/weekends and holidays on rotation </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will function in full compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care,=</p> <p>Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management will be conducted in collaboration with the attending physician and other health care professionals</p> <p>Experience with surgical patients is highly preferred</p> <p>Experience with Robotics is preferred but is not the deciding factor</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Board certified or Board eligible surgeon, Credentialed RNFA or Physician s Assistant</p> <p>Possess a current Basic Life Support Certification BLS, required</p> <p>Possess a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS, required</p> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
