<p>Warehouse Coordinator</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>A Warehouse Coordinator will lead daily order fulfillment expectations within the facility and coordinate with team members for assigning shipping and receiving responsibilities for supporting parties. This role will communicate with Manufacturing leadership for reporting inventory updates, logistics alterations and delivery/freight schedules.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <ul> <li>1st shift </li></ul> <p>Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Operation of Forklifts to move materials within the facility---unloading, loading, put away, transporting to packing line and staging areas </li><li>Manage the coordination of shipping & receiving schedules for the facility - generation of Bill of Materials as needed </li><li>Be able to lead a small group of team members </li><li>Assigning direction of workload for immediate team members </li><li>Assist with training material/tasks for Material Handling team </li><li>Assist and lead inventory audits and cycle count for designated location </li><li>Identify missing parts or incomplete orders, shipments or kits and escalate as necessary to ensure ship dates are not missed </li><li>Ensure all shipping/receiving duties for Sales & Production orders all accurately filled for external and internal customers </li><li>Be a team player and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude </li><li>A strong mechanical acumen has proven to be successfully in this role </li><li>Ability to successfully complete industrial equipment training for operation (fork truck, walkie, pallet jack, etc.) </li><li>A strong logistics acumen has proven to be successfully in this role </li><li>Ability to operate heavy duty equipment in a safe </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products are highly preferred </li><li>Understanding of ERP Systems is highly preferred </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This job does not require travel </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent; additional certifications and education are welcome </li><li>At least 5+ years of experience with Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management is required </li><li>Previous experience with leading small groups/teams is highly preferred </li><li>A "Kaizen" focused individual for this role is expected </li><li>Maintaining a clean and safe work area utilizing the principles of 6S </li><li>Experience with Excel and D-365 (or other warehouse management programs) preferred </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds </li></ul> <p>About Bastian Automation:</p> <p>Bastian is a trusted material handling automation integrator supporting distribution and manufacturing operations across the automotive, aerospace, tire and wheel, and other related industries - helping them work smarter, scale faster, and deliver with confidence.</p> <p>In addition to exciting work at a growing company, we offer the following benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan with a company match </li><li>Vacation / Holiday Pay </li><li>Paid Volunteer time off </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Professional Associations, Conferences and Subscriptions </li><li>Company Meetings & Events </li></ul> <p>Bastian Automation does not work with outside recruiting agencies.
