<p>What we are looking for</p> <p>We are seeking a Director of Rebate Pricing and Analytics in Berwyn, PA. Reporting to the Associate VP of Pricing & Analytics, this position will head strategic and tactical initiatives related to the company's rebate administration services. The successful candidate will support prospect pricing requests, administer rebate submissions, perform data validation, and accurately process payments to our clients. This position will also play a key role in rebate forecasting, contract administration, process and system improvements, and ad hoc analytic support.</p> <p>The Director of Rebate Pricing & Analytics will be a creative and dynamic contributor and is expected to be proactive in executing the company's strategic direction as it relates to rebates.</p> <p>This position is expected to be on-site at our Berwyn facility a minimum of 3 days per week.</p> <p>What the position will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Clean and manipulate large datasets for pricing and/or production purposes </li><li>Utilize SQL, Alteryx, and Excel to create impactful data analyses related to rebate pricing and administration </li><li>Oversee the timely and accurate rebate administration process, including claims submission, creating formulary files, and client payment reporting </li><li>Effectively communicate complex analyses and findings to non-technical teammates, including executives and peers across departments </li><li>Utilize project management skills to coordinate input from multiple internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Work closely with the Executive team to understand and implement new and existing contracts with Clients </li><li>Monitor and forecast the company's financial performance as it relates to rebates; propose changes to rebate, specialty, and pricing strategies in response to changing performance trends </li><li>Perform trend analysis, actuals vs forecast, and identify/communicate variance drivers </li><li>Continuously review and improve data sources and configuration as it relates to information stored in the Company rebate database </li><li>Support IT-related initiatives and data warehousing initiatives </li><li>Support internal and external Audit requests </li><li>Lead annual DIR reporting process for Medicare rebate clients </li><li>Other duties as assigned, also being flexible and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience applying analytical solutions in a business environment. </li><li>PBM, health insurance, medical claims analysis experience within the US Healthcare, Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and/or pharmaceutical industries, preferred </li><li>Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Operations Research, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business, or other analytics-driven field, and a strong academic record. </li><li>A master's degree in a STEM field or MBA a plus. </li><li>Understanding of pharmaceutical rebates, including a familiarity with rebate aggregation administration processes and best practices. </li><li>Experience analyzing data to solve a variety of business problems. </li><li>Experience creating data analyses and data visualizations to drive strategic direction. </li><li>Expertise with Alteryx or equivalent database/workflow automation software is preferred. </li><li>Expertise in Excel, including the extensive use of advanced formulas, and formatting/charting features. </li><li>Success in identifying business needs, creating a vision, and directing the delivery of analytics-driven solutions that create sustained value. </li><li>A proven innovator who has managed successfully through complexity and difficult business challenges. </li><li>Passionate and curious contributor who looks to continuously learn and embraces the adoption of new technologies that impact business, markets, and user experiences. </li><li>Strong business skills and demonstrated ability to build solid working relationships with teammates, business leaders, and stakeholders while exhibiting genuine care. </li><li>Excellent, transparent, and persuasive communication and presentation skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook </li><li>Proficient in SQL, Alteryx, SAS, or comparable software </li><li>Proficient in dashboarding and reporting applications, preferably PowerBI. </li><li>Ability to multi-task work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills </li><li>Excellent organizational skills </li><li>Ability to set and meet deadlines </li><li>Relentless attention to detail </li><li>Reporting and data visualizations skills </li><li>Ability to write comprehensive reports </li><li>Ability to analyze large datasets </li><li>Ability to be a team player </li><li>Ability to manage time-sensitive documents </li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment </li><li>Ability to work and adapt in a complex, dynamic organization </li></ul> <p>About us</p> <p>AscellaHealth is a global Specialty Pharmaceutical and Healthcare services organization serving patients, payers, life sciences, and providers, offering a comprehensive portfolio of customized, tech-enabled specialty pharmaceutical and medical management services.
