<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Fulfilment Specialist position services as a Specialist for any team members working in the fulfillment area. This position drives processes to increase efficiency and quality of shipping procedures.</p> <p>The Fulfillment Specialist position works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 3- 5 years of related experience or may need 2 years' experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Trained in basic operations of assembly and/or equipment necessary to perform the job assigned. </li><li>Sets up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines </li><li>Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications </li><li>Verifies goods packaged against package invoices. </li><li>Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Documents inventory number and weight and organizes packages. </li><li>May make minor repairs to packaging equipment as needed. </li><li>May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. </li><li>Monitors production and packaging/fulfillment schedules and works with the Manager to make changes as needed. </li><li>Monitors quality while packaging. </li><li>Assists with creating and revising SOP's </li><li>Trains new employees. </li><li>Monitors quality within the Packaging & Fulfillment depts. </li><li>Typically reports to a supervisor or manager </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Education</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) </li><li>5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment </li><li>Must be able to perform each assigned task at full competency, as recorded on his/her training record. </li><li>Must be able to achieve production quotas set for the machine you are assigned to. </li><li>Does not damage machines, tools or molds </li><li>Ability to professionally communicate and work with others </li><li>Meticulous attention to detail </li><li>Able to work under pressure </li><li>Can do - positive attitude </li></ul> <p>SSP Beliefs and Values</p> <p>At SSP, our core beliefs and values foster a family environment.</p> <p>Our Core Principles:</p> <ul> <li>We are comfortable being uncomfortable </li><li>We give each other grace </li><li>Everyday is an opportunity to make a difference </li><li>Never settle for good enough </li><li>No politics </li></ul> <p>.</p>
