<p>Job Summary and Responsibilities</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE</p> <p>The Project Manager provides management of design and construction related activities for capital projects as assigned.</p> <p>This position manages activities related to project communications, contract administration, change orders, submittals,</p> <p>procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements, manages risks and contingencies to ensure</p> <p>projects are completed with successful outcomes in quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness. The Project Manager</p> <p>interfaces and communicates with the hospital operations leadership for project coordination as appropriate. This position</p> <p>reports directly to the Senior Project Manager, Area Manager, or System Manager.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <p>? Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management,</p> <p>Engineering, or Architecture and/or equivalent experience</p> <p>required.</p> <p>? Minimum (2+) years of experience in leading project management</p> <p>design and construction projects.</p> <p>? Thorough working knowledge of project construction budgets and</p> <p>controls.</p> <p>? Demonstrated success in delivery of major healthcare capital</p> <p>projects.</p> <p>Required Licensure and Certifications ? Professional license, registration and/or certification preferred.</p> <p>Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</p> <p>and Training</p> <p>Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities? Experience in facilitating project design and construction related</p> <p>meetings and presentations.</p> <p>? Knowledge of project delivery methods such as design-build,</p> <p>design-bid-build or others.</p> <p>? Experience in developing conceptual project scope, schedules and</p> <p>budgets.</p> <p>? Experience with construction processes, building and life safety</p> <p>codes.</p> <p>? Knowledge of approving authorities, OSHPD/HCAI (for State of</p> <p>California positions only) and similar regulatory agencies.</p> <p>? Displays self-confidence and inspires confidence in others.</p> <p>Preferred Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <p>? Knowledge in health facility preconstruction services.</p> <p>? Knowledge in equipment planning processes.</p> <p>?
