<p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members. </li><li>Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner </li><li>Administer expert massage and body treatments for various purposes and needs and in the specific time frame given. </li><li>Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practice. </li><li>Properly care for equipment and product used. </li><li>Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings. </li><li>Compare and contrast the different services on the menu. </li><li>Recommend and up-sell services at the spa facility on property. </li><li>Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. </li><li>Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately. </li><li>Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education. </li><li>Works unsupervised for extended period of time. </li><li>Uphold all protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms. </li><li>Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy appearance and a positive attitude. </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area. Including extensive in-between client cleaning procedures. </li><li>Maintains well maintained spa appearance, cleanliness and ability to work entire shift in a mask as directed. </li><li>Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress. </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager. </li><li>Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve problems in fast paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of the position. </li><li>Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekend, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility. </li><li>Must comply with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility. </li><li>Maintains a friendly pleasant and professional demeanor and appearance at all times. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Two years massage therapy experience at a resort or high level country club. </li><li>Proper training and certificates for service provided. (Must be able to produce certifications upon hire.) </li><li>Highschool diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Experience in administering treatments to male and female guests in a professional manner. </li><li>Understand and follow Blood Born Pathogen procedures. </li><li>Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language. </li><li>Must be able to stand up to 9 hours per day Length of time of these tasks may vary. </li><li>Able to lift 15lbs occasionally. </li><li>Able to work entire shift in a Mask. </li><li>Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity. </li><li>Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, online booking platforms, printer, and two way radio. </li></ul> <p>Summary:</p> <p>This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the team members occupying this position.
