<p>Clinical Educator</p> <p>SurgCenter Northeast is hiring a Clinical Educator</p> <p>SurgCenter Northeast is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Temple Terrace, Florida.</p> <ul> <li>Ambulatory surgery centers (or outpatient surgery centers) are healthcare facilities where surgical procedures not requiring an overnight hospital stay are performed. </li></ul> <p>The Clinical Educator plans, develops and coordinates continuing clinical and non-clinical in-service education programs within the center for all staff. The Clinical Educator works with leadership and staff to assess current educational needs and develops a plan to satisfy those needs. The position also assists in ongoing revision and implementation of policies and procedures, protocol development and equipment implementation.</p> <p>The Infection Prevention:</p> <ul> <li>The surveillance, analysis, and reporting of healthcare associated infections </li><li>Educating employees about infection prevention and control </li><li>The development of health system policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection prevention and control standards that meet Joint Commission, OSHA, Public/State Health Department, and Centers for Disease Control requirements </li><li>Promoting health and safety to all employees by facilitating an Employee Health & Wellness Program which includes disease detection, prevention, and treatment </li><li>Following up on employee illnesses and injuries </li><li>Conducting employee health screenings </li><li>Promoting a safe and healthy work environment </li></ul>
