<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Under general supervision, to help support and grow our business. Metals industrial experience with a proven record of accomplishment of successful new business development is highly preferred.</p> <p>This will cover the East Bristol Region, including areas from Bristol to Ohio and Fort Wayne.</p> <p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <p>The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:</p> <ul> <li>New account development and prospecting </li><li>Increasing share at existing accounts </li><li>New product introduction </li><li>Effectively communicate EMS' distinct proficiencies </li><li>Margin improvement initiatives </li><li>Suggestions for adding new inventory items </li><li>Prepare and present pricing and proposals to customers </li><li>Maintaining computer records as to customers volume, usage and competitive feedback </li><li>Effective time and territory management for traveling </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Clean driving record free of DWI's or other major convictions such as careless and reckless driving, hit and run, etc. over the past 5 years is necessary! </li><li>Must be willing to sign our standard non-compete agreement. </li><li>Four year college degree is preferred </li><li>Prior outside sales experience is required </li><li>Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties: Detail oriented </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Strong math skills are required </li></ul> <p>EMS is committed to providing a clean work environment with masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves.</p> <p>WE ARE A DRUG FREE WORKPLACE AND AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</p>
