<p>Job Title: Manufacturing Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee and direct the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of products at the expected quality and cost, aligning with corporate objectives. This role involves organizing and harmonizing manufacturing resources to work cohesively as a team.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review deviations in the execution of the monthly production plan with the Planning department, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. </li><li>Identify mid/long-term production constraints in conjunction with Planning and recommend appropriate actions. </li><li>Lead staff to improve productivity and quality levels to meet departmental goals by identifying trends and issues. </li><li>Spearhead continuous improvement efforts to streamline operations and reduce production costs. </li><li>Collaborate with QA and Regulatory departments to resolve CAPAs and Non-Conformance Reports. </li><li>Understand, teach, and maintain GMP practices for manufacturing medical devices. </li><li>Prioritize maintenance activities in coordination with the Maintenance Manager. </li><li>Execute toolroom plans with the Tool Room Supervisor. </li><li>Participate in the development of budget plans and lead execution to meet them. </li><li>Direct, develop, and enhance Molding Technicians' capabilities and manage their performance. </li><li>Analyze and compile production reporting data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly results. </li><li>Interact with Engineering to correct deviations between actual and standard output rates, BOMs, routers, etc. </li><li>Define and communicate departmental and individual goals to achieve corporate objectives. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 15-20 people, including supervisors, process techs, and mold makers. </li><li>Injection molding and packaging. </li><li>Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred. </li><li>Fluency in Spanish is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A 4-year college degree, with further education being a plus. </li><li>At least 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations. </li><li>At least five years in a significant injection molding/manufacturing management role. </li><li>Experience in a regulatory environment. </li><li>Knowledge of labor, capital equipment, and production supplies. </li><li>Familiarity with ISO 9000, MRPII systems, and FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing. </li><li>Lean Manufacturing background and knowledge of Scientific Molding Principles/RJG is a plus. </li><li>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and MRP systems. </li><li>Strong data analysis and presentation skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to interact with shop floor personnel, upper management, and other departmental managers and staff. </li><li>Effective communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation abilities. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.</p> <p>Client will provide list of benefits with offer letter</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a hybrid position in Elk Grove Village,IL.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Sep 3, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
