Your work will help internal and external stakeholders connect with Medtronic's purpose and vision in meaningful, memorable ways.</p> <p>As a Graphic Designer, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conceive, design, and lay out impactful editorial illustrations and creative artwork across various mediums.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop interpretive themes that clearly convey ideas and complex information in engaging and accessible ways.</p> </li><li> <p>Create graphic presentations and visuals that communicate mood, tone, emphasis, and viewpoint, helping to shape audience perception and understanding.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide expert guidance and recommendations on graphic design tools, trends, and technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand project objectives, brand standards, and audience needs to deliver thoughtful, cost-efficient design solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver digital assets including web graphics, internal portals, training visuals, and presentation materials.</p> </li><li> <p>May provide input or oversee production processes including reproduction and printing through in-house services or external vendors.</p> </li></ul> <p>Must Haves: Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in graphic design or equivalent experience OR</p> </li><li> <p>Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 2+ years experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong portfolio showcasing design versatility across print and digital platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and web-based design tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of branding, layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supporting design for healthcare, medical device, or life sciences companies.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with video editing, motion graphics, or UX/UI design.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of print production processes and vendor management.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Job Requirements</p> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.</p> <p>The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PR) locations (USD):$63,200.00 - $94,800.00</p> <p>This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).</p> <p>The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).</p> <p>The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).</p> <p>The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).</p> <p>Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.
