Represented in all major reinsurance markets through a network of 38 offices, we have earned superior financial strength ratings from each of the major rating agencies.</p> <p>Gen Re currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst - Travel & Entertainment in our Stamford, CT office within the Finance unit. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least two days per week.</p> <p>Role Description</p> <p>The Senior Financial Analyst - Travel & Entertainment ("T&E) will play an integral role in the travel and entertainment expense activities across the global Gen Re Group, with particular focus of all North America companies.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading the global Concur Travel and Expense vendor relationship and technical platforms,</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinating, writing and maintaining relevant and current global Gen Re T&E Guidelines,</p> </li><li> <p>Designing and refreshing an efficient and user-friendly global T&E Concur platform,</p> </li><li> <p>Liaising with global stakeholders on the technical design, maintenance, and interface of the Concur platform, SAP, and relevant feeding systems,</p> </li><li> <p>Leading the global corporate credit card program and liaising across local credit card relationships,</p> </li><li> <p>Working directly with the business and service units to delivery content, communications, and trainings,</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing and analyzing T&E and corporate credit card reporting for use by management,</p> </li><li> <p>Developing solutions and workflows that support globally consistent and efficient ESG assessments and reporting,</p> </li><li> <p>Working directly with the global and local Finance teams on requirements for general ledger entries and expense reports,</p> </li><li> <p>Overseeing and implementing global Travel programs, incentives, and relationships with key vendors and travel agencies,</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting in the review of internal controls and internal policies across the global T&E activities,</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting in the review and approval of expense reports within the T&E Concur platform.</p> </li></ul> <p>Role Qualifications and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting and/or T&E work experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong client service skills that develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Creative design and marketing skills to deliver content</p> </li><li> <p>Team player, works effectively with others</p> </li><li> <p>SAP and Concur system experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, including Artificial Intelligence solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, marketing, or general business</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>106,000.00 - 178,000.00 USD</p> <p>The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the US and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.</p> <p>Our Corporate Headquarters Address</p> <p>General Reinsurance Corporation</p> <p>400 Atlantic Street, 9th Floor</p> <p>Stamford, CT 06901 (US)</p> <p>At General Re Corporation, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
