<p>Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to support our daily and month-end financial operations. This role will be responsible for processing accounts payable, preparing journal entries, analyzing cost of goods sold, reconciling inventory and fixed assets, and supporting intercompany and audit processes. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, participate in ERP system upgrades, and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting practices. Responsibilities Responsibilities Participate in daily accounting operations including processing AP invoices and Intercompany re-billing Prepares and inputs journal entries, review of variances, and re-classing accounts for month-end settlement and closing process Review all work orders to ensure their current and work with operations to resolve any issues Analyze cost of goods sold and manufacturing variances and work with production team to resolve in a timely fashion Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure precise costing and accurate financial reporting Review consumable margins on a periodic basis Responsible for all end close tasks relating to cost of sales and inventory, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Consignment Inventory coordination Responsible for tracking, recording and reconciliation of fixed assets Prepare audit documentation for quarterly cycle counts and assist with year-end physical inventory Participate in ERP system migration and upgrades Assist with internal external audit requests Perform various other accounting responsibilities as needed Qualifications Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Experience with cost, account reconciliations, vendor invoices, accounts payable, audit, month-end close, year-end close, balance sheets, journal entries, monthly billing statements, general ledger, and GL accounting Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products (Outlook, Word) Experience with Epicor a plus or similar ERP system. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet internal deadlines Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills <em>Company Name is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search firms for this position.
