<p>Madison Consolidated Schools</p> <p>Position Title: Reports to: FLSA:</p> <p>Attendance Support Personnel</p> <p>. Building Principal, Assistant Principal(s), Dean of Students</p> <p>Non-exempt</p> <p>Summary of position:</p> <p>To provide assistance to the administration in guiding and assisting students in discussion about attendance and attendance related issues.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>At least a high school diploma plus two or more years of work experience Demonstrated aptitude and/or abilities for performing the tasks required. Such other qualifications of empathy, communication, academic, professional, and personal excellence as may be specified.</p> <p>Supervises: NIA</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate with counselors and assistant principals in reference to student attendance. Students with at least three unexcused absences per quarter need to be marked as "frequently absent." Report truancy and track attendance daily </li><li>Maintain student attendance records </li><li>Have individual meetings and conversations with students at 5 unexcused days of absences and 10 unexcused days-of absences. </li><li>Complete proper communication for probation at 5 and 10 days unexcused absences on students. </li><li>Complete proper communication for state and BMV for students unexcused at 10+ absences. </li><li>Receive, respond, and communicate to parents about attendance issues with students. </li><li>Any duties assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or Dean of Students </li></ul> <p>Special Considerations/Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
