<p>Join the team at CCL Label Shelton, CT</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>CCL Label Shelton, Connecticut is part of CCL Industries a world leader in specialty labeling and packaging solutions for our global customers. The Shelton location specializes in pressure sensitive labels for home and personal care products.</p> <p>We are seeking a Full-time Press Assistant for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). Press Assistants are responsible for assisting Press Operators as necessary by ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available to run jobs. This is an entry-level position.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Delivers parts, materials, tools and supplies to Press Operators. </li><li>Reviews Press schedule and stages orders for Press Operators. </li><li>Assists Press Operators as needed to clean and set-up Printing Press. </li><li>Installs and removes print heads, unwind units, hot stamps and dies. </li><li>Mounts printing plates on cylinders and sharpens squeegee blades. </li><li>Maintains production area by removing garbage and organizing supplies. </li><li>Disassembles, cleans and reassembles ink trays/chambers. </li><li>Operates and maintains parts washing units and properly disposes of used materials. </li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must have good mechanical skills and mathematical aptitude. </li><li>Must be able to use basic hand tools. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and be able to bend, reach, climb, push, pull and stand for long periods. </li><li>Must be reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude. </li><li>Must be self-motivated, and able to work independently while working safely around operating machinery. </li><li>Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED (preferred)</p> <p>Prior related experience preferred.</p> <p>CCL offers a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes:</p> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance benefits, HSA/FSA, EAP</p> <p>Paid Time Off</p> <p>Paid Maternity Leave</p> <p>Paid Bereavement Leave</p> <p>Paid Jury Duty Leave</p> <p>401k program with company match</p> <p>Profit Sharing Program</p> <p>Work Location: Shelton, CT 06484</p> <p>Please check us out - CCL Label</p> <p>CCL provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
