<p>Job Title: Lab Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Lab Technician to focus on the characterization and processing of silica-based materials. This role involves measuring physical properties, processing materials, and maintaining lab equipment and areas.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Measure physical properties such as surface area, pore volume, and particle size distribution of silica-based materials. </li><li>Process silica-based materials efficiently and accurately. </li><li>Ensure that all lab and process equipment is maintained in a safe working condition. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lab and process areas. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in quality control and chemistry. </li><li>Experience with laboratory and wet chemistry techniques. </li><li>Understanding of pH, surface area, and particle size analysis. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in a Life Science field or equivalent experience. </li><li>0+ years of experience with an Associate's Degree or 2+ years of direct lab experience without a degree. </li><li>Strong understanding of basic chemistry concepts and laboratory procedures. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and written procedures. </li><li>High level of accuracy in conducting experiments. </li><li>Skill in analyzing and interpreting experimental results is desired. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is based in a silica lab, working collaboratively with a team of five additional members.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
