(Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley).</p> <ul> <li>Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts </li><li>Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) </li><li>Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift </li><li>Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff </li><li>Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City </li><li>Healthcare options are available for staff members </li><li>401k plan with company match </li></ul> <p>PURPOSE OF POSITION: Effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of resort facilities and furnishing.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, boilers, and control systems </li><li>Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and electrical circuits </li><li>Install and remove faucets, seats, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers </li><li>Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water and perform appropriate repairs </li><li>Perform carpentry work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills </li><li>Understanding of basic design of gas-fired burners, boilers, and kitchen equipment </li><li>Understanding of HVAC and electrical systems </li><li>Experience in refrigeration and understanding of Hussmann rack systems and conventional pump down systems </li><li>Must have valid driver's license </li><li>Able to work on ladders and scaffolding safely and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Swing shift preferred: 2-10pm</p> <p>DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Year Round </li></ul> <p>PAY RATE:</p> <ul> <li>Pay: $23.00 per hour </li></ul> <p>Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
